After our first meeting, in October 2015 (www.inpe.br/wibema), EBA team processed the airborne laser (ALS) scanning data from almost 500 sites, widely distributed in the Brazilian Amazon region. In this workshop we will present the results gather thus far, and discuss the methodology being used. We are composing data from field plots, ALS, satellite imagery and modeling the spatial distribution of the forest structure and associated biomass. We would like to also discuss gaps, uncertainties and broader collaboration opportunities.
