The project aims to develop methodology for the classification of land use in deforested areas already mapped by the project PRODES.
The initial mapping includes only the class of secondary vegetation and the data for the Amazonian states are available for download.

Other information: Data generated from the interpretation of images Landsat/TM5 2008, with spatial resolution of 30meters, georeferenced to UTM Projection and Datum SAD/69.
